  1. Alrighty then. Maybe I can help you out after all. Sorry if this is too long! The next two years is going to be tough for you, so it is really, really important you discipline yourself into regular study habits. But also allow yourself to have time to unwind too. Trust me; I was a slacker so I learned this the hard way. It is also best to study one course over the two years because some of the topics you learn in Year 11 will reoccur in Year 12. Geography is easier than Economics by far; although both courses are interconnected (both share the same topics such as unemployment, environmental externalities, population, poverty, etc.). My friends did Geography last year, and they thought it was really boring. You only learn about Australia's geography and tourism, not anywhere else outside of Australia. You also have to learn to memorise and draw maps which are essential for exam time. But out of the two courses, Geography has the easier marks. I chose to do Economics because it was more appealing to me; it taught theory unlike Geography, which favoured science. Economics is pretty much based on memorisation, and the ability to apply theory into reality (we were encouraged to read the news regularly.) It is harder because the microeconomics course in Year 11 is way more different than macroeconomics, which you will learn in Year 12. But as aforementioned, some things in Year 11 Economics can be found in the Year 12 Economics course work too. The two links I have provided below in my sources will be *extremely* helpful to you to help you decide which course you want to do. I strongly recommend you read them. It is compulsory for your teachers give you these documents; otherwise it is illegal if they don't. I also noticed that you wanted to become a Pharmacy assistant? An awesome career choice. You can earn a lot of money, but it is a very competitive industry to get in. I suggest you do TEE subjects that are concerned with sciences such as Chemistry, Biology and Human Biology. If you wanted to do Pharmacy at university, you need to get a TER of 85.00 or higher to be eligible to get in the course. However some universities (such as UWA) don’t use TERs as they prefer alternative pathways such as interviews, portfolios, etc. Now, go kick some TEE a**! I wish you the best of luck with your studies. Any questions just email me on here.
