Visit Australia?

If I were to visit Perth in Australia do you think that two weeks is too short a time to do this.

  1. I'm from Perth, and I would say probably not it depends what you want to do its quite a beautiful place .
  2. I lived there for 9 years.....there are some really nice surrounding areas too depends what you wanna do. Margaret river is a bit of a drive south but worth a look. As is Rottnest Island. I reckon 3-4 weeks would be more of a holiday. Kalgoorlie is about 5 hrs away and worth a look for a glimpse at a real aussie town lol Anyway 2 weeks would be rushing it but if thats all you got time for then thats it.
  3. its long enough if your happy to stay around that area a long way to come just to see a tiny part of Australia, i would wait til you had more money and time to see the east side o australia too
  4. If you are in Perth itself, you could probably get by on 2 weeks but if you wish to travel around the area, you will need more time. Regardless of where you travel, I would recommend at least 4 weeks. Travel to Oz will take three days given the time differences and you're looking at three days to recover from jet lag. So flying out to Oz, you have lost the best part of a week. On the way back, if you do your flight search correctly, you can land back in the UK the same day you left Oz but you still have to allow at least a couple of days to recover from jet lag.
  5. we went for three weeks last june, it was great but you would need much longer to see and do everything. But two weeks is better than nothing. have a great time its a fantastic place.
