1. It would be a very involved process, so I suggest you google Australia, it's customs & people etc. You should get a lot of stuff off the web.
2. What sort of basic facts? Do you mean facts like, Australia is just marginally smaller than the contiguous United States and yet we have a population of approx 23 million people? Or do you mean facts such as, we drive on the left of the road, we use the metric system and we have strict gun control and very few of us have ever handled a firearm in real life, let alone own one?
