I need to learn about australia geography , got any ideas about it?

1. Australia is the only continent that is a country by itself.
2. Hey just an interesting fact you could slot in is that when the first colonizers arrived in Australia the whole continent was covered by a lush, green rainforest. However they developed a hunting method which involved burning and gathering. So this combined with the natural bushfires led to the rainforest becoming depleted. However, interestingly Australia still had a predator fierce enough to kill man. A species of monstrous prehistoric lizards, each the size of a classroom haunted the tribes, killing many. But this beast retreated deep into the forests at night. The peoples solution was to burn down the whole rainforest, and thus this led to the desertification of the country and the arid, desolate outback we have there today. Just an idea that i doubt anyone else will have Hope this helps
